It was recently discovered that the rivets attaching the alt air door to the bracket that bolts it to the engine were beginning to loosen. We put out a service advisory in August about this and I blogged about it here. We have now released a Service Bulletin SB2X-71-22 that corrects this condition by removing the rivets, and installing bolts, nuts and cotter pins in their place.
